I started lifting weights at Mariposa Iron when I was 15. For the last 25 years I have followed Lawrence’s guidance and principals when it comes to lifting. Although I do not live in Orillia anymore, I still practice the Mariposa Iron principals in the gym.

We set our goals via email and design programs around them. Lawrence has helped me build a base that is very adaptable to strength goals. Now at the age of 40 I can still put up respectable numbers in the squat, deadlift and bench press.

After 25 years of lifting I can honestly say that I have no joint pain, knee pain, back or hip pain – zero. Hitting a big squat or deadlift might not be for everyone, but enjoying a life of pain free mobility should be on everyone’s list.
